The nose provides a beautiful balance between freshness with crushed violets and lavender and deeper elements of blackcurrants, licorice and elderberries. Tea leaves and charcoal, too. Full body, really refined and structured tannins and a long finish.
Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked and selected on a double sorting table. The whole grapes fall into tanks below by force of gravity. All the varieties were produced separately. Fermentation and maceration occurred in stainless steel tanks for about 20-25 days at a controlled temperature not above 28°C. The wine was then put into 225-liter barrels made of French oak; here the malolactic fermentation was completed. The aging process lasted 12 months in oak barrels and at least another 10 months in bottles.
Grape Variety: Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot
