Intense ruby red in colour. A herbaceous bouquet recalling fruits of the forest. On the palate the Villa Chiopris Cabernet Sauvignon is tasty, full-bodied with smooth tannins and a long finish.
Vinification: The grapes are mechanically harvested and gently de-stemmed then fermented at controlled temperatures of 23°C for 18 days with the skins on. The wine then spends 8 months maturing in steel tanks at a constant temperature of 16°C. There follows a further long period of refining in the bottle.
