The medieval commune of Alba is the white truffle capital of Italy and the Dolcetto grapes grown in this zone are acknowledged to be the finest. The wine is more supple and lighter in body than Barolos. Bright ruby red in color. In the mouth, fresh and clean crisp little berry, cherry, raspberry and currant. It has firm structure and fresh, young, lively flavours.

Vinification: The grapes are hand harvested from the family owned hillside Monfalletto vineyard and fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks for about 10 days. This is followed by mallactic fermentation partly in steel & partly in wood. The wine is then aged for a further 4 months in steel tanks.
