The Villa Chiopris Merlot has a rich, ruby red colour with violet reflections and a fruity, vinous bouquet. On the palate it is herbaceous and tasty.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested by machine and fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures of 23°C on the skins. This is followed by 8 months of maturing in steel tanks at a constant temperature of 16°C. The wine spends a further brief of refining in the bottle.
