Intense ruby red in colour with violet tinges. Vigorous fruity fragrances and hints of sour cherry and berry blended with subtle spicy overtones. The flavour is full and persistent, with an integrated, pleasing tannic feel.
Vinification: The bunches are macerated at controlled temperatures followed by alcoholic fermentation at 28°C. There follows malolactic fermentation and 12 months oak ageing in Slavonian oak barrels (70%) and French small barrels (30%). The wine is aged in bottled for 6 months before release.
