Wine with outstanding complexity, structure and elegance. It has an intense, bright red color and a rich aroma of small red fruits and spices. It has enveloping, complex and lingering aromas that highlight the cherry and ripe Marasca cherry with a pleasant spicy and balsamic finish. Bottle aging gives it an exquisite elegance.

Vinification: The grapes are hand harvested from 8 year old vines located within the 20 hectare Spiaggiole Estate in Magliano, Tuscany, approximately 130 to 150 metres above sea level. On arrival at the winery, they are immediately destalked and undergo temperature controlled maceration for 8 to 10 days followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in tank for 6 months with a small percentage also aged in 32 hl barrels for the same period of time.
