Intense deep red colour with purple hues. The nose is fruity, revealing aromas of plum, black fruit and blackberry jam, with a pleasant spicy sensation of vanilla, tea and amber hints. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, with smooth and integrated tannins.

Vinification: The grapes are hand-picked at the end of September from the 'Maiana' estate in Salice Salentino. The carefully selected grapes are macerated at a controlled temperature of 20-22° C for a minimum of 10 days, followed by a malolactic fermentation. The wine refines and matures in oak barrels for a total of 12 months, then it ages in the bottle for 3 months.
