Bright with a slightly green shimmer. Aromas of pineapple, elderberry, gooseberry and honey. Refreshing acidity and delicate minerality.
Vinification: The stoney-limestone gravel of the Lahn vineyards combined with the cool winds from the Mendel Massif produce a lively ad expressive Sauvignon with great varietal character. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes are hand harvested and selected in mid-September. On arrival at the winery, the must is fermented in stainless steel tanks and is left to develop on the 'lees' until the end of February before racking and bottle.
